1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Addis Gebeya / Auto Safety ("the Platform", "our Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Important: These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Addis Gebeya / Auto Safety. Your continued use of our platform indicates your acceptance of any updates to these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately stop using our platform and services. Continued use implies acceptance of all terms and conditions outlined in this document.

Refers to the Addis Gebeya / Auto Safety / Auto Safety website, mobile application, and all related services provided by Auto Safety.
"User", "You", or "Your"
Refers to any individual or entity that accesses or uses our platform.
"Buyer"
A user who posts requirements or seeks to purchase products or services through our platform.
"Seller"
A user who offers products or services to fulfill buyer requirements on our platform.
"Content"
All text, graphics, images, music, software, audio, video, information, and other materials posted, uploaded, or shared on our platform.

3. Eligibility Requirements

To use our platform, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into contracts
  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Comply with all Ethiopian laws and regulations
  • Maintain only one active account per person or business entity
Note: We reserve the right to verify your eligibility and may request additional documentation to confirm your identity or business status.

4. User Accounts & Registration

Account creation and management responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • You are liable for all activities that occur under your account
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Update your information promptly when changes occur
  • Verify your phone number and email address
  • Complete any additional verification processes we may require

5. Platform Services

Addis Gebeya / Auto Safety provides a digital marketplace that connects buyers and sellers. Our services include:

For Buyers
  • Post product/service requirements
  • Browse seller responses
  • Direct communication with sellers
  • Secure payment processing
For Sellers
  • Browse buyer requirements
  • Submit proposals and quotes for buyers requirements
  • Direct communication with buyers
  • Payment receipt processing
Platform Role: We act as an intermediary platform. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items or services listed, the truth or accuracy of listings, or the ability of sellers to fulfill orders or buyers to pay for orders.

6. Payments & Fees

Users may be required to pay subscription or access fees to use certain platform features. Current fee structure:

  • All fees are clearly disclosed before payment
  • We use third-party payment processors (such as Telebirr)
  • Payment information is processed securely
  • Refunds are subject to our refund policy
  • You authorize us to charge applicable fees to your payment method

7. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

Users must comply with the following conduct guidelines:

Allowed Activities
  • Post legitimate business requirements
  • Provide accurate product/service information
  • Communicate professionally with other users
  • Complete transactions in good faith
  • Report violations to platform administrators
Prohibited Activities
  • Posting false or misleading information
  • Harassment or abusive behavior
  • Selling illegal or prohibited items
  • Circumventing platform fees
  • Creating multiple accounts
Violation Consequences: Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination from the platform.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

Addis Gebeya / Auto Safety retains all rights to:

  • Platform design, functionality, and software
  • Trademarks, logos, and brand elements
  • Proprietary algorithms and processes
  • Documentation and user interfaces
  • Users retain ownership of content they create and post
  • Users grant us license to display and distribute their content on our platform
  • Users are responsible for ensuring they have rights to post content
  • We may remove content that violates intellectual property rights

If you believe your copyright has been infringed:

  • Contact us immediately with details of the infringement
  • Provide proof of ownership of the copyrighted material
  • We will investigate and take appropriate action
  • False claims may result in account penalties
